Putting a tattoo on your body should be a choice that you consider with much thought. You know the old saying, it’s a permanent mark on your body, one that will always be there. However, it’s up to you what you put on your body.

The wrist does not have a lot of skin or extra fat on it, for most people anyway. The way it’s always been put to me before is that if you’re close to bone, it’s going to hurt. For that fact alone I have never even gone close to the wrist.

But more power to those people who are brave enough to attempt a tattoo on their wrist. By all means you need to do what is best for you and what will make you happy. Now you only have to get through the first few minutes of a tattoo.

Normally as the artist will begin the outline of the tattoo, it will hurt, unless you are oblivious to pain. Which in that case have a blast you won’t feel a thing. But as the artist keeps going the area will actually become a bit numb.

While if you’re a female you can stick with something that is more feminine like a butterfly or flowers on a vine. A guy wouldn’t really look good with either of those choices, but there are flames or Celtic symbols even.

However, before you go and have your tattoo done, remember that it is a permanent mark on your body. If you are only doing it on a dare, don’t do it. Picking out something to go on your body that will be there forever you should make sure that you have chosen something you will always enjoy looking at. And also something that you can explain to those grandkids when they ask you later on in life!
