Some Ideas on Angel Writing Tattoos

July 29th, 2011

A very popular writing tattoo is of course in the form of an Angel, the symbolism which one is hoping to achieve can be represented in a multitude of styles and designs.

A powerful expression of numerous meanings it can be transformed into a significant and powerful message by adding a few key motivational words or sayings.

With Angels they can be good or bad, the fallen angel is very popular and provides many ways in which to produce stunning symbolism

Angel writing tattoos with or without the words will give many opportunities to produce a huge variety of symbols and meanings. It can be used for representing good or evil, beauty and the beast and is very popular with some social groups.

Working with a tattoo artist you will be able to select an angel design and with some slight modifications to the design you can change the meaning and representation.

It is often the case that males will select a male angel and show it as a fallen angel with a tortured soul to represent there wild side and dangerous image.

A well designed fallen angel will be seen as representing that lost boy who needs to be saved and is often chosen as it is attractive to women.

On the other hand females tend to use the angel as a sign of their confidence and inner awareness happy with whom they are and this is normally a loyal and trustworthy friend.

In God we trust is a popular saying and often used with the angel tattoo to represent faith, as most religions have angels there is always going to be those who choose to use an angel to show thier devotion.

The word Angel is from the Greek for messenger and an Angel tattoo is a powerful writing tattoo with which words can send a powerful message.

We all have our reasons for a tattoo and we will all have our own idea of the message we wish to send and the symbol we will use to do this.

As writing tattoos will last a long long time perhaps forever we should think about the message and see if it has the same type of longevity.

It is always a good idea therefore to try and make sure your tattoo will stand the test of time.

Types of Wrist Tattoos

May 6th, 2011

There are a number of factors we should consider if we are thinking about getting a wrist tattoo.

It is the case that many celebrities have opted for wrist tattoos and this of course can make us think about copying similar tattoos for ourselves. However we must always remember that what is good for one person may not suit another person.

We must consider the fact that everyone has different wrist sizes and will therefore be able to have different designs. Some designs cannot be too small and may just not look right on a small wrist.

How will the design look and age with us, it may be trendy now but will it be cool in your sixties or seventies? Think about the long term not just the today.

Before we go ahead we also need to think about what type of tattoo, a motivational saying on the wrist may be too big and look silly. We could of course use Chinese or Arabic script to say more in less space, again I urge caution in making sure what we say will be suitable for our kids and for us in the future.

If we are more interested in designing our own tattoo we can take some sizes and make a mock up and see what looks good. We can use words and images only we want and which mean something special to us. Once we are sure of what we want unless very gifted we should get a proffessional template drawn up to avoid any chages at the tattoo parlour

Many magazines have examples of the latest celebrity tattoo such as Jessica Alba who has the sanskrit character for the lotus flower. Gisele has a wonderful star tattoo on her wrist and there are many other great examples out there. All of these will provide great examples of what is available to us. There are so many designs sometimes this helps us to focus.

Always think about the design and plan it out, the wrist tattoo should not be an impulse buy a drunken decision, these are the tattoos we all regret and try hard to remove. If you choose to use Writing Tattoos with Chinese or Arabic symbols make sure they say what you think they say by checking with a trusted translator and get a template from them.

For The Most Personal Tattoo You Must Design Your Own Tattoo

November 24th, 2009

It seems that mankind has been fascinated with tattoos since the first man (or woman) figured out how to make ink. Though this form of inked body art has in the past been most commonly associated with tribal markings as a means of showing status in the tribe, it has now become an almost unnoticeably common fact of life. Today, both men and women tattoo their bodies for a variety of reasons, and it has little to do with social status. Some use tattoos to make their bodies more unique; others get tattoos to express their religious beliefs; still others see the markings as nothing more than a means for decorating their bodies. If you are in the process of deciding upon a tattoo, you may want to use the opportunity to design your own tattoo and have it be a unique representation of your personality.

When you choose to design your own tattoo, there are a number of important considerations that you need to make. Obviously, the most important consideration has to do with the design itself. Tattoos are permanent body markings, and not easily (or cheaply!) removed. The tattoo you get today is going to be with you for life, so the design should not be left to momentary impulses that you may later regret. For this reason, tattooing your body with the name of your current boyfriend or girlfriend, while attractive and exciting at his point in your life, will prove to be a poor decision indeed if you are not with that person for the rest of your life!

After you have decided what not to do, the time comes for you to actually design your own tattoo. Many people choose their design by looking to the animals and plants that surround us in nature. Flowers and animals of every kind continue to remain among the more popular choices for tattoos, and offer a timeless attractiveness that leads to few if any regrets as the bearer ages. Just a few years ago, the most popular images for tattoos were pictures of dolphins. Over the years, bears, eagles, and roses have all been popular choices.

For a truly stellar tattoo, look skyward. The stars, moon, and other celestial objects provide plenty of inspirational material from which to draw and design your own tattoo. The star is one of the most popular of objects for tattoo design, whether it is the Star of David or the beauty of the shooting star. By using a variety of different objects in your overall design, you can easily create a one-of-a-kind piece of body art that will be admired by others. One example would be that of a wolf howling beneath a full moon as the night sky is ruptured by a shooting star.

Finally, color choices are a critical decision when you design your own tattoo. The palette of colors available to the tattoo artist leaves almost every design within the realm of possibility. Nevertheless, how colorful your tattoo will be is a decision that you will need to work out on your own. After all, you and you alone will carry that design with you for as long as you live.
