Tattoo Designs For Couples: Who Needs A Ring?
Over the past twenty years, more couples are deciding to look at tattoo designs rather than wedding rings. The tattoo idea has become very popular with young people who are in love, want to show that they are committed and connected, and it has become a ritual just like picking out wedding rings used to be. Even before marriage is a consideration, a couple may choose tattoos together as a step before a wedding ceremony.
The main tattoo design that is chosen by couples is usually centered on the name of the other person. They might get the name of their significant other inked on in a simple manner, or just the initials. Or, they might look at a tattoo gallery and choose from different styles to have the name written in, and different images that can be used as a backdrop. The danger with using the name of the other person is that should the relationship end badly, the people in question are stuck with their tattoos. Therefore, some people choose to put the name in a different language, usually one that looks very foreign but still stylish.
Instead of names, some couples spend time looking at tattoo designs that they both like in order to get matching ones. They can be flower tattoos, dragon ones, or anything in between, as long as they match. This is good because the tattoo is not restricted to the name and the choice of the image can reflect the shared interests of the couple as well.
Finally, a tattoo design that is cut in half, yet when put together completes an image is also growing in popularity. This requires a strong level of tattoo art design on the part of the artist in order to make sure that the two images on the couple will sync up properly. Often the couple will get these types of tattoos on their arms so that it is easy for them to put the images side by side. A quality design will make a complete image both with the other half and on its own.
It may take time to find the tattoo designs that both parties can agree upon. Whether they choose names, initials, symbols of their relationship, or even halves all need to be considered. While this can be an emotional issue, it can also be a bonding one if the couple takes their time to find the right tattoo design and also research books of tattoos at a tattoo gallery. If the relationship isn’t a strong one and ends due to differences in their lives or conflict, it is possible to have tattoos removed or shortened. Each person needs to make sure that they are committed and that they realize this isn’t just a spur of the moment idea that a new couple decides to do for the fun of it. Like a marriage, it is a major commitment.

The tribal tattoo is often associated with native Indian groups, and often the younger generation will consider getting such a tattoo to acknowledge their history. While some people will choose a design that represents a tribe simply because it looks good, others have ancestors who belonged to specific Indian tribes and they wish to demonstrate that connection. The question is, should you get one of these tattoos or not? If you are only getting the tattoo because you like tribal tattoo designs, then that is your choice; yet if you are doing it to connect with your past, then there are some things to consider.
Prior to being inked with tattoo symbols that signify certain tribes, you should ensure that you have the right history. Many individuals tend not to do enough research and make assumptions regarding the past of their family members. Sometimes, people have gone through the process of having an elaborate tattoo design inked on their face or body, and then learned that their ancestors were actually from a different tribe.
To prevent having a tattoo that doesn’t in fact signify the tribe your ancestors were part of, it’s wise to make sure that you are actually affiliated with the said tribe before you take the big step of getting the tattoo. A modern tribal society will provide help to ascertain your ancestry and this will allow you time to make sure that you would like to commit your time to this group prior to making any lasting decisions. A body tattoo is bad enough to make a slip-up with, but several tribes do facial tattoos and this is not where you want to have an error take place.
Obtaining a tribal tattoo requires a lot of searching and thinking before you make the final decision to ink your body. And a facial tattoo can be one that you may not like having as you grow older. What you decide to do at a young age can be totally different from what you would have decided at an older age if you’d taken the time to research and think about it for a good time period. Fads come and go, and removing tattoos can be both painful and expensive.
Most people at some time in their lives become interested in their family history. However, if you haven’t delved into your history enough, and do decide to suddenly get a tribal tattoo, then you may regret it later. Finding your cultural roots when you are young is not only fun but it can be very interesting and also open your eyes to a bigger world around you. But quickly picking out a tattoo artist who will do the tattoo for you can cause more problems later in life if you’ve made the wrong decision.

Koi Fish Tattoo Designs | Comment (0)To Be Inked Or Not To Be Inked? Tattoo Drawings
Tattoos are a part of life like death and taxes and perhaps even more eternal. I can’t think of any other way to articulate yourself then inking it straight to your skin for all to observe forever. Agree or disagree is not up for discussion today. I think now with the web and the ability to search tattoo drawings, there should no longer be awful tattoos.
Now we can’t free the planet of bad artists but just do some homework here first. With the web we can explore the biggest book of tattoo flash, designs and even artists in any city, instantaneously. This theoretically takes away the possibility of a terrible tattoo. But a little grunt work and some searching is still required.
I am a firm believer in getting something tattooed with meaning since it does last forever, at the very least it should be cool. I would try to draw something up by hand or get an idea of what you want and find an artist that could bring it to life. Remember if you need some insight search the internet, but don’t just blatantly steal other’s tattoos, use them to develop your own.
Take several drawings and use the ideas to come up with something new. Go into the parlor organized. Color or just black? My chest or leg? Bring things in to show the artist and help them get a better impression of what you want. Magazines, tattoo drawings, anything that will help. I am still blown away by some of the work that tattoo artists can do these days.
Don’t go in under the influence. This is just my personal view. If you are drinking your blood is thin and it gets messy. I think it is safe to say that we tend to do things we may not do if we weren’t drinking and this doesn’t mix well with permanent tattoos. Anyways wouldn’t you enjoy feeling the pain sober?
Heres a couple of things for the tattoo newbies. Well it hurts. I know that nothing hurts you because your gigantic and tough and blah blah, it does hurt, I don’t care what anybody tells you. Think about how it really works, tiny needles dragging across you as they pierce you. I associate it to a lit cigarette just smoldering on your leg. Not don’t let me worry you if it hurt that bad no one would do it. You can handle it, it’s not the most comfortable thing to do, but bearable. The needle they use to outline the tattoo hurts more then the one they use to fill and it will absolutely hurt more depending on where you choose to get it.
The way you care for your tattoo the next couple of weeks after is vital. Don’t do the aftercare half assed as the brilliance and detail of your tattoo is at stake. Make sure you ask questions and get aftercare instructions at the tattoo parlor, a decent one won’t let you leave without this information. Remember not to stop with the care early merely because you think your tattoo has finished healing. Make sure to cleanse it and keep it moist. It will itch but you can not scratch and pick at the scabs. Be sure to follow the aftercare process they give you at the tattoo parlor.
Getting a tattoo is a magnificent experience and can capture a memory or time in your life forever. It is a great way to celebrate a memory, express yourself, and even meet new people. Just please do some homework and check out all the tattoo flash and tattoo drawings that you can. Preparation is key so you don’t end up with the identical thing everyone else gets off the wall. Hopefully this article can help you take away some of the risk of making a permanent mistake. Now time to get tatted!

teenage girl who claimed 56 stars were tattooed on her face as she
slept when she’d only asked for three has admitted she was awake the
whole time – and lied because her father was ‘furious’.
Belgian
Kimberley Vlaminck said last week she woke up in horror to find her
face covered in the stars of various sizes which spread out over the
left-hand side of her head.
She went on to blame the Flemish-speaking tattooist for not being able to understand her French and English instructions.
I was lying: Kimberley Vlaminck originally
claimed she had only asked for three star tattoos but ended up with 56
after she fell asleep
Amid a frenzy of media attention, she then vowed to sue tattoo
artist Rouslan Toumaniantz for the £9,000 she needs for laser surgery
to have them removed.
She said after the tattooing: ‘It is terrible for me. I cannot go out on to the street. I look like a freak.’
But
the 18-year-old has finally confessed she did not fall asleep, that she
wanted all the stars and was ‘fully aware’ of what Toumaniantz was
doing.
Tattoo artist Rouslan Toumaniantz had
originally said he would pay for half of the laser treatment Vlaminck
needs to have the stars removed
